In 2020 on a visit to Sudan I got my Sudanese passport. Since then, there has been a global pandemic and now a violent war between two generals that has torn the nation apart and made it not just unvisitable but unlivable. Here is a sticker of that very passport photo that I have yet to use.
Fun fact: when I went to get my photo taken I had my bangs out and the government official taking the photo told me to tuck my hair into my mandatory hijab. But just know, I would have ate y'all up with the bayang!!!
